Pre-license course worked

I took the WI Dwelling Contractor Pre-License Training. The material was comprehensive and did prepare me for the exam. I appreciated the online format, as I could fit it around my work schedule. However, I did find some of the modules a bit dry, and a few of the videos seemed a little outdated visually. Customer support was helpful when I had a question about the final exam process. The price was competitive, especially with the bundle discount. I would use them again for CE, but they could refresh some of the presentation.

Quick CE course

Took the 4-Hour Contractor Continuing Education. It was fast and got the job done. Material was clear. No issues at all. Got my certificate immediately.

Good course, easy to use

I signed up for the 12-Hour Dwelling Contractor Course last month. The registration process was straightforward on the website. I got instant access after payment. The course content was well-organized, and I liked that I could pause and resume whenever I needed to. I used it on my laptop and my tablet, and it worked fine on both. They reported my credits to the DSPS pretty fast, which was a relief. I got my certificate right after I finished. The only small thing was finding the specific section on financial responsibility; it was tucked into a larger module. Overall, a solid experience for CE.

Consistent quality for CE

This was my third time using WI Contractor Training for my continuing education, this time for the Electrical Code Update Course. Just like before, the process was smooth from start to finish. The course content was up-to-date and easy to understand. I finished it on my own schedule, which is why I keep coming back. They've been consistently reliable for my CE needs.

So glad I found them!

I just finished my Wisconsin Electrician Continuing Education and it was fantastic! The course was super easy to navigate and the information was clear. I had put off my CE for too long, but this made it painless. The best part was getting my certificate right away after completing it. I'll definitely be back next time I need CEUs. I'm telling my crew about this site!

Thinking of signing up for the pre-license and maybe some CE stuff too. Do they do any bundle deals or coupon codes? Wanna save a few bucks if I can.

K Kate 1 month ago
They usually have bundles for pre-license and other courses, saves you like $10-30. I think it applies automatically at checkout? Haven't seen many actual coupon codes floating around, but sometimes there are seasonal promos.

Check around December/January or March/June, I've seen them run specials then. Also, if you're a returning student or in a group, they sometimes have discounts for that too. Just keep an eye out.

Hey, wondering if these courses are actually legit for my license renewal? Don't want to waste time and money on something DSPS won't accept.

A Alex 2 months ago
Yeah, they're approved. I renewed my electrical license last year with their CEUs and had zero issues. They report directly to DSPS too, which is super convenient.

Totally legit. I used them for my dwelling contractor pre-license stuff. It says on their site they're DSPS-approved, which is what you need. Just finished my course a few weeks ago and got my certificate right away.

What's their refund policy like? Just in case something comes up and I can't do the course after all.

K Kate 2 months ago
I think you can get a refund if you haven't started the course yet. Definitely check their site for the exact details, but that's what I remember seeing.

Yeah, if you haven't accessed the course material at all, you should be good to get your money back. Once you start, it's usually a no-go for refunds.

Anyone tried comparing WI Contractor Training vs RocketCert or Elite Learning? What's the vibe like, content-wise and ease of use?

M Mark Torres 2 months ago
I used WI Contractor Training for my last CE and it was pretty straightforward. Heard RocketCert is good too, but this one felt more tailored to Wisconsin stuff. Plus, their mobile site worked fine for me on my tablet.

My buddy used Elite Learning and said it was okay, but I prefer WI Contractor Training. The content felt more practical, less just reading slides. And they report to DSPS automatically, which some others don't, I think.

how long do you get to actually finish the online courses once you buy them? i'm usually pretty busy so need something flexible.

J June Patel 1 month ago
You get a good amount of time, like 6 months or something. I bought a course and didn't touch it for a while but still had plenty of time to finish up before it expired.

AFAIK it's 180 days. I took my time with the 12-hour course and never felt rushed. You can pause and pick it back up whenever.
